Year 6 have created reports to show what they have learned during our WW2 topic, they have chosen how to present their information.

On book launch day we all came in pyjamas, brought our teddies to read to and used the green screen to create pictures of ourselves in our favourite book.

Team Resilience have learned about Anderson Shelters and how they were used in WW2. We designed, created and evaluated our own Anderson Shelter models.

Team Resilience have learned about Morse Code and how it was used in WW2. We then made circuits and practiced sending Morse Code messages to each other using the bulbs in our circuits.

The Year 6 adults are extremely impressed with the photographs the children have taken today. They have taken photographs to represent the evacuees and the items they took with them.

Year 6 have worked in groups to build a 3D tank.

To launch our topic 'What were the main events in WW2?' we have taken part in a now Press Play experience!

This week, Year 6 have learned about people migrating from Mexico to America. We have looked at the different biomes in Mexico like deserts and rainforests and have written setting descriptions using figurative language!

Team Resilience have created some Arctic art work and written brilliant descriptions of the landscape over the top.

Year 6 had a go with Now Press Play, we listened to an Arctic adventure and acted out the story!

Year 6 have used clay to create dragon eyes.

Elf day!

Re-enacting the Battle of Hastings!

Team Resilience have made shields ready to re-enact the Battle of Hastings later this week.

We have made castles with drawbridges this week. Year 6 worked brilliantly in their groups to create their model.

Team Resilience really enjoyed colour day! It was lovely to see everyone dressed in red.
