World Book Day!
Team Chameleons dressed up as characters from Mary Poppins and completed lots of work based on the book.
Team Chameleons enjoyed our R.E lesson, finding out what different religions believe.
We discussed whether the Highwayman deserved to die and whether we thought he was a criminal or not. We all took part in a ‘conscience alley’ where a child acted as the conscience, walking through the alley of people and listening to their arguments.

Team Chameleons enjoyed our skipping workshop with Mr Dan the skipping man! We learned fun new tricks and built up our stamina.
To launch our new topic 'How do humans survive?' we made fossils, completed a virtual tour of the Galapagos Islands and took part in a survival experience.

For Children in Need we brought in our teddies and read to them in class. We also took them with us to assembly.
Year 6 went to Roman soldier school today. We marched and built bridges to get across rivers.

We have grown our own herb garden after learning that many people used medicinal herbs to cure illnesses in the past.
Team Chameleons had a brilliant time in our drumming workshop today!

We reenacted the eruption of Vesuvius in Pompeii. We thought about how the people who lived there would feel at different points.
Biome experience: The children were challenged by our Dora The Explorer learning leader to visit a range of different biomes and investigate how the plants and animals have adapted to live there.
