Team Resilience - Why did we build castles

Team Resilience have worked extremely hard today, they have used their determination and resilience to draw detailed sketches of dragon eyes!

Year 6 have used clay to create dragon eyes.

Elf day!

Re-enacting the Battle of Hastings!

Team Resilience have made shields ready to re-enact the Battle of Hastings later this week.

We have made castles with drawbridges this week. Year 6 worked brilliantly in their groups to create their model.

On colour day, Year 6 all created their own art work on separate squares and then put them all together to reveal the whole picture.

Team Resilience really enjoyed colour day! It was lovely to see everyone dressed in red.

This week, Year 6 have launched their new topic 'Why did people build castles?' We took part in knight training, learning what it took to become a knight.

We have been recapping contractions.

This week, Year 6 have designed their own theme park.

We have written descriptions of a fairground, using exciting vocabulary.

Team Resilience launched our new topic 'Why does the Goose Fair come to Nottingham?' today. We tasted fairground food, played fairground games and used the green screen to create pictures of ourselves on rides.

This week, we have made emotions in a jar. We thought about what colours we should use for each emotion.
