Hi Team Macaw, I hope you are all well and keeping yourselves and families safe! This would have been the start of your Easter break so please treat it as a time to have fun at home.

I will be putting an Easter Daily Challenge on for you all to try whilst you are at home for the next two weeks. If you have any questions regarding this please do not hesitate to message me on Class Dojo and I will answer any questions as soon as possible.
Have fun spending time with your families, eat lots of chocolate and stay safe!

Friday's Daily Easter Challenges

Thursday's Easter Challenge

Happy Thursday Team Macaw! Yawn... the words in the eggs are boring and I know you can do much better. Can you think of some different adjectives for the words in the eggs?

Wednesday's Daily Easter Challenge

Morning, lets have an Easter maths game today! Choose a number between 1 and 50 to start. Roll a dice (if you do not have one at home, you can google a dice and it will work the same), move the amount of spaces and then solve the calculation. First one to the finish - wins!

This is just some of the Easter activities Team Macaw have been up to at home!

Faye's Easter Lolly Sticks
Honey's Mardi Gras Mask
Maks Reading At Home With His Hamster

Tuesday's Daily Easter Challenge - Week 2!

Mardi Gras is a Christian holiday that's celebrated on Shrove Tuesday (pancake day), the day that begins the Christian season called Lent. During this season, which lasts until Easter Sunday, Christians are supposed to give up bad habits or fast from certain foods.

Using the information on the sheet, read through how each country celebrates. Then summarise using bullet points all of the wonderful celebrations different countries do during Mardi Gras. You can either print the sheet out or just write straight into your workbook. You could even draw and colour me in some lovely pictures to help explain your writing!

Art Challenge - Mardi Gras

Hello Team Macaw! I hope you had a great Easter weekend in the sunshine, filling your faces with lots of chocolate. I have seen some wonderful things you keep sending over on Class Dojo, that look like so much fun. Well done you and to your parents. Keep safe and keep smiling!

Thursday's Easter Daily Challenge

Morning Team Macaw, here is your Thursday Easter Daily Challenge!
Write me some sentences to describe the picture. Think about those lovely adjectives and vocabulary we have been working on in class. As an extra challenge you could draw a picture of your garden and write me some sentences about it.
Have a great Easter Weekend at home with your families, eat lots of chocolate, enjoy the sunshine but don't forget to put some sun cream on (don't make the same mistake Miss Urbacz has)!

Wednesday's Easter Challenge

Happy Wednesday! A big well done to those children who keep sending in pictures of your home learning. It makes me so happy and proud to see all the hard, independent learning you are completing.

Lets get creative today and make some Easter egg art. Draw an Easter Egg in your work books or on some paper and decorate it with things around your house. Don't worry if you don't have paint or pom poms in your house. Use whatever you can find (instead of pom poms you could use tissues or cotton wool)! Have fun and send me your pictures. I will be creating mine tomorrow too so I can show you all :)

Great work today Team Macaw!

Louise
Wonai

Tuesday's Daily Easter Challenge

Happy Tuesday! Today I have put on a maths ISpy game to have a go at. Follow the instructions to find every picture before completing the challenge. Alongside this I have put on a time-capsule activity to have a think about. You may want to complete one yourself to document such a momentous time in history. A different activity will be added each day so keep checking. Please complete this in your books and don't forget to show me because it makes me smile seeing all your fabulous work.

Keep Safe and keep up the hard work!

Monday's Daily Easter Challenge

Your Monday Easter Challenge is to create a poster all about Spring. The sun is beginning to shine so it's a perfect time to research this wonderful time of the year. You could find things from the garden to put on your poster, draw pictures to explain your ideas or write about this time. Don't forgot to show me your finished pieces so I can show your class friends on our class page and add on your Dojo points. Keep smiling and stay safe :)
