Dear Parents,
Do you want to give your children some fun learning to watch over the Easter holidays?
Our brilliant ‘Phonics with Mr. Ward’ videos are just the thing! It doesn’t matter how many times they watch them, the fun activities and games in each video will help keep your children engaged and consolidate the phonic knowledge and skills we teach them in school.

Team Kindness looked at how rhythm and beats can help chant rhymes. Once we could clap in beats of 4 and keep a rhythm we tried layering “Row, Row, Row your boat” with groups starting at different points. We then looked at a special African drum called a Djembe. We looked at how to play the drum properly and then used this to help keep a rhythm and beat to chant our song.
