12.5.22 It was International Nurses Day on Thursday so we found out why it is celebrated on this day - it was Florence Nightingale's birthday! We loved finding out why she is so famous and that she was called the Lady with the Lamp.
11.5.22 We were taken over by Scribblers on Wednesday. We have all really enjoyed our Vipers story this week There's a Superhero in Your Book and the evil Scribbler is their favourite character!
5.5.22 Children took part in a competition to create their own titles for a new book about a duck! Well done to Toby (The Duck was Lost) and Priscilla (Duckie in the North Pole) who were our winners! :)
WB 2.5.22 As part of our topic we have spent time this week finding out about DENTISTS. We have looked at what they do for us and why they are important to keep us healthy. On Friday they were introduced to the Brush Bus Song which can be found on YouTube and how it supports them cleaning their own teeth twice a day. Every child then got a new toothbrush and toothpaste to take home with them too!
29.4.22 This week we have learnt more about what Postal Workers and how they help us with letters and parcels. We looked at post boxes from around the world and learnt why we have some that are gold! So we then had a go at writing our own postcards to our own houses and Miss Brown posted them for us. Have they arrived yet?

19.4.22 We started the half term with a BANG and had our Team Rainbow Day! Here are the children creating a large rainbow sculpture on the playground using objects they could find.
