Admissions

We work closely with Nottingham City Council to coordinate admissions to Springfield Academy from Reception through to Year 6..  If you want your child to come to this Academy, then you should still apply via the City Council using their online form or by asking them for a paper form for you to complete.  The link to their website is given below.

You are very welcome to come and visit us to have a look round before you make your decision – it's important that you feel that you have found the right school for your child.

Nursery Admissions

Springfield has a 26‑place Nursery for children aged 3 and above, followed by one class per year group from Reception to Year 6 (ages 4–11).

If you would like your child to join our Nursery, application forms are available from the school office. We operate a waiting list and allocate places as soon as possible after children reach their third birthday.

Our Nursery currently offers morning sessions from 8:50am–11:50am, term‑time only.

After February half-term, we will also be offering full‑time Nursery places from 8:50am–3:25pm.
Parents will be able to:

  • Use their 30‑hours funded childcare entitlement, or
  • Top up their 15 universal hours by paying for the additional hours.

If you are interested in a full‑time Nursery place, please register your details at the school office and your child will be added to the waiting list.

Further information regarding our expansion to providing a full‑time nursery will follow soon.

In-Year Admissions - Reception to Year6
