22.7.21 We had our transition morning and got to spend some time with our new teachers.

Team Rainbows had a fantastic day for Djanogly's 10 year Anniversary, we celebrated with a disco, made birthday cards, we made the number 10 using dinosaurs and with our bodies .

We also had a fabulous time with the bubble machine trying to pop all the pretty bubbles.

Finally, we ended our celebrations with pass the parcel, birthday cake and lolly pops.

Making 10

We had a very special visitor come and see us in the Early Years Unit,

we were all very excited to see

'Herman the Tortoise'.

Team Rainbows had great fun picking and tasting the strawberrries that we have grown in our garden.

Topic Launch Day!

We introduced our new Topic of ANIMALS by looking at reptiles and answering the big question Why don't snakes have legs? We read the story Snake Supper by Alan Durant and then explored what we already knew about snakes.  We made patterns, created our own snakes and had a go at being snakes. We will now be looking at other reptiles to find out what they have in common.
