Meet my pals
Team Caterpillar's are now able to collect one of 'Ted's Pals' every time you read with your child. It can be one of school's books or your own, mark it in their reading record and when they have read 20 times (once a day) you can collect one of the most sought after 'Teds pal's'.

World Book Day! - Our class book was Aliens Love Underpants. All the children (and staff) looked amazing and had so much fun! We even had Miss Brown's daughter, Shannon come in as our Secret Reader to read our story!
On Friday 28th Februarywe had our Topic Launch Day. Our topic this half term is Transport. We listened to the story Naughty Bus and just like him, we explored new places in the hall!
Pancake day! - We had Scotch pancakes, Sweet pancakes and strawberry filled crepes. Then we could choose syrup, orange, lemon and/or jam toppings! It was very yummy!
We had lots of fun during Mrs Page's class read, all the adults acted out our 'Traditional Tale' of the half term 'The Three Billy Goats Gruff'.
We were all so excited when it started snowing! We talked about keeping warm and safe in the snow, and then we went out to explore! We listened very carefully to the sound our footsteps made and all the children loved trying to catch snowflakes in their hands and on their tongues!
Teddy Tuesday! - We all enjoyed reading and looking at stories with our Teddies.
We had a visit from Mr. Pepper on the 20th and 27th January, learning about the seasons! We also learned about what happens in the North and South Poles over the year, what animals live there and what they do. We then spent the afternoon filming our own class Seasons video!
Welcome to Mrs Page's story time.
Team Caterpillar's and team butterflies had an amazing morning with Dan the skipping man, who came in to teach us all how to skip.
Christmas Fun Day
On Wednesday 18th December we had our Christmas Fun Day and we had a brilliant time. All the children were busy making lots of lovely arts and crafts for Christmas and decorating their own biscuits. It was great to see so many parents, carers and friends join us and it was you that really made the morning special.
A big thank you to everyone involved and all of the volunteers for helping including our Year 6's!
In the last week of term Team Caterpillars and Butterflies had a visit from Santa!! We were really excited to meet him and he even gave us a little present for making good choices this year! Thank you Santa!
It was Pop's 5th birthday in Team Butterflies this week so we threw him a birthday party! We washed our hands to get rid of the germs and then decorated some cakes for the party. In the afternoon we hung balloons, made party hats, ate cake and sung Happy Birthday to Pop and some of our other friends who's birthday it was too!
Our Book of the Week this week was Handa's Surprise. Team Caterpillars and Butterfleis enjoyed tasting all of the exotic fruits from Handa's basket. We had avacado, mango, passionfruit, banana, pineapple, and orange.
This week 'Team Caterpillar's and Team Butterflies' had fantastic fun in our drumming workshop.
On Rememberance Day, lots of the children made their own poppies to wear around school. We also sat and watched a Cbeebies short video about Rememberance day before sitting and having our 2 minute silence.
Team Butterflies had a visit from Mrs Walker's Guinea Pig, Rocket. The children asked lots of questions about what Rocket eats and where he lives. We talked about what Rocket liked to do, how we could take care of him and how to keep him safe. Some children asked to stroke Rocket's soft fur.
