LETTER TO PARENTS

7th January 2022

Dear Parents and Carers

We hope you managed to have some lovely family time over the Christmas break.  WE WILL be able to return to Springfield on Tuesday but with a few tweaks to things as everything is not completely up and running, due mostly to a back log because of the Christmas break.

We had a complete power outage at school, with everything telephones, internet, lights, computers out of action, some items still need to be replaced.

WEEK BEGINNING TUESDAY 11TH JANUARY - FRIDAY 14TH JANUARY - school will open at 8.50am (9am start) and finish at 3.20pm

(We cannot offer Breakfast Club next week because we lost all of our food in the freezers and fridges)

The kitchen is still out of action so packed lunches will be provided for all R - Y2 children and FSM children. You may send extra food if you want to but we had a lot of food provided.

ALL OTHER CHILDREN WILL HAVE TO BRING SANDWICHES NEXT WEEK

The Reception classroom is still out of action so we will have to use the Nursery room, so I am afraid we will be unable to resume our morning Nursery session until we can have the Reception classroom up and running.

Until late today, we believed we would have to continue at Sherwood Rise so please bear with us while we try to resolve all of the issues.

I would suggest children wear an extra layer of clothes as school has been without any heating at all for 3-4 weeks.

It will be lovely to return to school, we have missed you all.

TUESDAY 11TH JAN - FRIDAY 14TH JAN - 8.50-3.20 OPENING

NO BREAKFAST CLUB

NO NURSERY SESSION

SCHOOL PROVIDED SANDWICHES OR SANDWICHES FROM HOME

WARM LAYER OF CLOTHING
