Dear
Dear Parents/Carers, 25th November 2020
We are trying to do something with a Christmas theme every day that we are in school during December. The intention is to provide joy not stress. We do not want to place any financial burden upon you either however.
We are trying to include the community as much as the current rules will allow and I’m afraid these rules can change day by day. We will prompt you as we are going along every day by text.
One of the big things we are doing is to film a Christmas production with every child taking part.
It is really important that the children are in school uniform on Monday 30th November, and in Elf Day themed clothes if possible (don’t worry we have extra things for them to wear if you haven’t), on Tuesday 1st December.
Children can bring Christmas cards for each other as each class will have a postbox. The cards will be kept in “quarantine” until the end of term and then the children will bring them home in one go, which should minimise the current risks.
Singing slots are just for 2 songs at the end of the day, more information nearer the time (and fingers crossed)!
We hope to include you in as many things as we can and try to provide as many “normal” Christmas activities as we can for the children. We want to try and make a Christmas to remember!
Mrs Francis
